Grapefruit Jam

1 grapefruit

Sugar 80g

1 teaspoon honey

1/2 teaspoon of cardamom (powder)

1/3 teaspoon agar

1 teaspoon sugar


  1. Peel the grapefruit and squeeze the fruit juice into PYREX mixing bowl. Place the agar and sugar into the juice and stir.
  2. Add sugar and honey to the bowl. Cover and microwave for 8 minutes.
  3. Mix well and microwave for a further 5 to 6 minutes without covering. Let the mixture cool.
  4. Add the cardamom to the mixture and store in a bottle.
